Availability: Available on back-order

Porsche 911 996 X51 Scavenge oil pump to suit  996  bank two  (Cylinders 3-6).

This dual stage scavenge oil pump has been designed to allow a extra oil line to be fitted to the Cam Cover of the M96 engine to releave oil pressure and to reduce the build up of oil in the bank two cylinder of a  996 /  Engine and to return it to the sump thus reducing the incident of oil pressure loss due to lack of oil in the sump.

Porsche originally supplied this type of pump in the X51 kit. Their sub-contractor then redeigned it incorrectly in the version 2 as the second stage of the pump did nor rotate the correct way and blew the oil rather than sucking it.

Our pump has been designed and manufactured in our UK works to perform correctly ie suck the oil !

Cast, CNC machined, assembled and tested in-house. in our factory in The United Kingdom

For a very long time this engine had many failures due to shortage of oil. This was caused by heavy braking which caused the oil to build up in the bank two head. Bank one does not have this problem as the scavenge pump is located correctly to draw the oil away. This oil build up in bank two is also thought to be a reason why the tappet chest tray fractures due to oil pressure build up

We manufacture these pumps in-house to order. Current lead time is six working weeks from receipt of your order. Please ring for more information.
