PORSCHE 987.1 BOXSTER DECAT MANIFOLDS
This is a pair of manifolds (headers) with catalyst bypass to fit generation 1 987 Boxster. These manifolds are formed out high quality 304 grade stainless steel that is TIG welded in the factory in the UK by skilled engineers.
The manifolds have been designed from the ground up to ensure perfect fitment to 987 gen 1 Boxster. This is designed to fit to the factory fitted standard exhaust or most aftermarket exhausts.
After the installation of this product the emission light might come on your dash. To remove it you might need to install the lambda sensor extensions from your existing cat. This is a high quality, 304 grade stainless steel manifold with secondary cat bypass (decat).
It is road legal as the 987 has two pairs of cats and this piece only removes one cat, thus in conjunction with OE exhaust it will pass MOT .
Since it gives a very substantial power increase it is excellent for track work as well as fast road. Giving a more noise to boot !
