This set is designed and manufactured to replace the OEM Porsche exhaust manifold/header studs that over time and being subjected to road crud rust away.
The stud is made of titanium with a roll formed thread to ensure superb quality of thread.
The washer is machined from Titanium and designed for header/exhaust manifolds that have larger fixing openings in.
The K-nut has been specified due to their ability to not work loose during service even when subjected to vibrations. The K-nut is a very clever fixing that is used in the aerospace and motorsport industries where parts falling off could cause catastrophic accidents. Knut can only be used once as it works by missforming the thread when being put under load.
Fitting this titanium studs future proofs the removal of header/ exhaust manifolds as the studs do not rust even when subjected to years of heat-cool cycles , road salt and moisture.
