This high precision Titanium Stud, titanium washer and K-nut set is designed and manufactured  in the UK to replace the OEM Porsche exhaust manifold/header bolts that over a period of being subjected to road crud rust away or just break off when you try to remove them .

Porsche 911 930 Turbo Classic Titanium Exhaust Stud, Brass Washer and Brass Nut Kit.

This Stud kit has been designed with the Classic Porsche enthusiast in mind Traditionally exhaust manifolds (headers to our American friends) have been secured to the cylinder head using brass washers and brass nuts.

Our Classic Stud kits stud is manufactured from Titanium Ti6Al4V  M8 x 1.25 Roller threaded to improve thread strength and quality but unlike our \”Motorsport \” spec kits the washer are manufactured from Brass and so are the fixing nuts. This should please the traditionalists !

This 964 Turbo Titanium Exhaust Stud kit comprises of :

12 x Titanium studs

12x Brass washers

12 x Brass nuts

The studs ,twelve off for this kit are made of titanium with a roll formed thread to ensure superb quality of thread.

The washers twelve of them in this kit, are machined from Titanium and are designed for header/exhaust manifolds that have larger fixing openings in.

The K-nuts ,twelve off for this kit, have been specified due to their ability to not work loose during service even when subjected to vibrations. The K-nut is a very cleaver fixing that is used in the aerospace and motorsport industries where parts falling off could cause catastrophic accidents. Knut can only be used once as it works by missforming the thread when being put under load.

Fitting these titanium studs future proofs the removal of header/ exhaust manifolds as the studs do not rust even when subjected to years of heat-cool cycles , road salt and moisture.
