Porsche 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 Titanium “Growler” Exhaust Valve Restrictor Kit.
One of the biggest complaints from owners of the 718 Cayman and Boxster six cylinder engined cars is the muted exhaust note at low revs.
The Growler kit works by carefully restricting the exhaust valves that Porsche designed to meter the exhaust noise.
It is completely removable if no longer required
Our kit comprises of two restrictor clamps ,one for each exhaust bank, that have been precision CNC machined from Titanium Grade 5 in our own in-house machining facility and four fixing bolts made from Stainless steel. Also supplied in the kit is a tin of our High Performance Anti-seize compound that should be spread onto the threads of the fixing bolts to lubricate them. This will ease future removal of the “Growler” kit. We also supply a hex allen key to aid installation.
